Aus iBook mach grauer Allerlei-Kasten: genau 7 Tage hat es gedauert, bis Microsoft auf den Trichter kam und die Werbeagentur "nachbessern" ließ: in einer meisterlichen Design-Glanzleistung hat diese nämlich das entdeckte iBook in der Windows Vista-Werbung durch ein graues Irgendwas ausgetauscht bzw. einfach grau übermalt.Vorher mit iBook:

Liebe Microsoft-Werbeagentur:
ihr könnt es noch retten, in dem ihr in den jetzt grauen iBook-Deckel noch ein Apple-Logo reinfrickelt. Dann ist es nämlich ein Powerbook.
So, wie darf man sich das dann vorstellen, wie das bei Microsoft abgelaufen ist? Ich vermute ja, dass irgend jemand von Microsoft über die PC Professional-Seite gegangen ist und den Beitrag gefunden und - übersetzt - an Redmond weitergeleitet hat:
Germany: "Gents, you made a big grip into se toilet!"
Redmond: "Huh? What the f... are you talkin' about?!"
Germany: "There's a guy...uhm... over here, writing the "most interesting website of all times. who is." who figured out and - believe it or not - you suckers used an Apple iBook in one of our brand new Windows Vista ads!"
Redmond: "Oh my God, I can't believe it - I'll call Bill immediately, he'll deal with it"
*Redmond calling Bill*
Bill: "billg speaking... *DING* Damnit.. *background noises...clicking sounds....DING DING DING...* What's up?!"
Redmond: "Uhm...Bill...we have a problem with one of our online ads...someone in Germany figured out we used an iBook for our Windows Vista confidence campaign..."
Bill: "What?! Are you nuts?! First you f... this B.M. thing up, then you get caught by implementing this Widget thingy into my OS..."
Redmond: "Gadgets, Sir... We agreed to call them Gadgets..."
Bill: "Whatever. So...who is this guy?! I heard he's chummy with some of our celebrities..
Redmond: "Uhm..yeah, right..."
Bill: "So...fix it, sonofabitch!! Or, wait, I'll fix it! This was the last time I trusted in you! OK, let's see...Start....Programs...must be somewhere below Accessories...Paint, got it! Uhum.... *clicking noises....DING DING....mumbling...DING...mumbling "yes Goddammit, I do want to overwrite that piece of shit"...* Ready! Now you call me immediately whenever that guy figures out our...no YOUR next mistake, again, understood?!"
